This 15-day cross-border adventure takes you through the highlights of Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe, blending dramatic deserts, rich wildlife, vibrant cultures, and iconic natural wonders. From the towering dunes of Sossusvlei and coastal charm of Swakopmund to game-filled days in Etosha, river safaris in the Zambezi Region, wildlife cruises in Chobe National Park, and the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, this journey offers a perfectly balanced Southern African experience in one unforgettable route.

Detailed Itinerary

• Travelling Distance: Approximately 5 hours on tarred and gravel road with stop overs and lunch break.

• Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our Tour guide at the airport, then drive from Windhoek to Sossusvlei. You will drive through the scenic Khomas Highland, which offers breathtaking, wide-open views and photographic opportunities. You can expect to see various Namibian fauna and flora, including Ostrich, Kudu and Gemsbok. Stops along the way include the town of Solitaire and our route involves driving pass Spreetshoogte pass. You will Stop-over for lunch in the Solitaire oasis in the Namib Desert.

• We wake up early and pick up our breakfast pack at the lodge. We then depart to a full day of exploring Sossusvlei, you will hike Big Daddy dune which is the tallest dune in the area at roughly 325meters (1066 feet), climbing Big Daddy is a tough but rewarding challenge, with breathtaking views over Deadvlei. Escape the midday heat with a walk into the narrow Sesriem canyon. The region’s minimal light pollution and clear skies make it an exceptional location for stargazing.

• Travelling Distance: Approximately 5 hours with stop-over.

• The drive from sossusvlei to Swakopmund is a journey through the heart of the diverse Namib-Naukluft National Park, featuring changing landscapes from towering red dunes to coastal desert. Along the way is the iconic, isolated settlement of Solitaire, the scenic Gaub and Kuiseb Passes, the Tropic of Capricorn. Closer to Swakopmund the landscape changes dramatically to a barren, moon-like terrain carved by the Swakopmund River over millions of years. This desolate yet beautiful area is a great photographic stop.

• Travelling Distance: Approximately 8 hours on gravel and tarred roads with stop-over.

• The drive from Swakopmund to Damaraland offers dramatic landscape changes from coastal desert to rugged inland mountains and plains. Along the way is the Cape cross Seal colony, the striking Spitzkoppe granite peaks, Brandberg Massif, and the potential to spot unique desert-adapted wildlife.

• Accommodation: 2 nights in Damaraland at: Twyfelfontein country lodge or similar

• Travelling Distance: Approximately 6 hours on gravel road with stop-over.

• Depart for Twyfelfontein primary activity, which is visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site with its ancient rock engravings. You will have a guided walk led by local experts to view one of the Africa’s largest concentrations of San hunter-gatherer rock art, some dating back as far as 6000 years.

• Travelling Distance: Approximately 4 hours on gravel roads with stop-over.

• We are on the way to Etosha National Park – wildlife sanctuary and treasure of Namibia, considered to be one of the most loved and most visited game parks of Africa! We are welcomed by wild animals and white sand of the plains. During afternoon game ride, admiring variety of magnificent animals. The Park is home to hundreds of species of mammals, birds and reptiles, including several threatened and endangered species such as the black rhino. Visitors can expect to see many buck species, elephants, giraffe, rhino and lions. If you are lucky you will see leopard and cheetah. After good rains, the salt pan fills with water attracting a mass of flamingos. More than 340 bird species have been counted in the park. Arrival at Anderson Gate of Etosha in the afternoon, we have enough time for afternoon game drive around the park.

• You will have a full day game drive in Etosha National Park.

• Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner + mineral water in the car

• Travelling Distance: Approximately 3 hours on gravel and tarred road. • You will have another full day game drive exploring Etosha National Park. Then depart north of Namibia to Kupferquelle resort in Tsumeb.

• Meals: Lunch & Dinner + mineral water in the car

• Accommodation: 1 night at: Kupferquelle resort or similar

• Travelling Distance: Approximately 7 hours on gravel and tarred road with stop-over. • We travel towards the northeastern part of Namibia Divundu, to lodge at one of the spectacular River lodge called Nunda. The area is known for its diverse wildlife including lions, elephants, bufalo, Hippos, crocodiles, and large herbs of sable and roan antelope, making it a great spot for safari experiences.

• Lunch will be enjoyed on the road.

• After breakfast you be heading for game drive, there is various wildlife species that one can expect to see such as Wild dog, Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, Hippo, and the host of the other antelopes.

• Travelling Distance: Approximately 3 hours on tarred road with one optional stop over.

• You will travel towards kongola heading to Camp Kwando, in Namibia’s Zambezi Region, offering excellent wildlife viewing and local immersion experiences. You will discover the diverse bird life.

• Optional Activity will be to take a trip to the Bwabwata National Park, first by boat along the waterways and later transferring to a game vehicle for an excursion into the African bush.
• Camp Kwado is a perfect stop over on the route to Victoria fall.

• Travelling Distance: Approximately 3 hours on tarred road with stop over.

• In the morning we travel towards Kasane Botswana border. After crossing the border, we are checked in Kwalape Safari Lodge. In the afternoon, we have a 2 hour game boat cruise into Chobe National Park for wildlife experience on the river. There will be an opportunity for wildlife photography.

• Travelling Distance: Approximately 2 hours on tarred road with stop over.

• In the morning we have a 3 hour game drive in Chobe National Park. After the game drive, we travel towards the border of Zimbabwe. Arrival at the small town of Victoria Falls situated near world-famous Victoria Falls. After arrival, we make a visit to the falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, locally known as Mosi-oa-Tunya (smoke that thunders).
